PerugiaDue was one of the properties of the descendants of Earl Enea Silvio Piccolomini (Pope Pius II), also known as the creator of the first ideal Renaissance city (Pienza). In this area there are four ancient and prestigious buildings (“Dimora dei Lecci”, “Dimora degli Ulivi”, “Dimora dei Cipressi” and “Dimora delle Querce”) and two other annexes where are located the caretaker’s lodge, 27 garages, 27 covered and 27 outdoor parking spaces and, an health club.
The restoration of the “Dimora dei Lecci”, where have been realized 19 apartments, and the construction of the building, partially buried, where are located 27 boxes, 27 covered parking and 27 outdoor parking is fully completed and liveable.
Each apartment, of different sizes, has garages, a covered or an outdoor parking space, independent heating, satellite system and armoured steel front doors and are set up for air conditioning, home automation and alarm systems.
In the above mentioned parkland are under construction a panoramic swimming pool with its tanning area, a multipurpose area where play tennis, basket, volley, football, a fitness trail, a children play ground, a pet’s area and an health club that will please the most demanding sports men and women. Expert engineers, architects and landscapers, all specialized in historical conservation, carried out the restoration of the “Dimora dei Lecci” and its surrounding park, with the approval and help of the “Soprintendenza ai Beni Ambientali, Artistici ed Architettonici dell’Umbria”.
The restoration was done in keeping with the architectural characteristics of the period with materials and finishing that enhance the beauty of the building.
All the finishing have been carefully chosen, the wood window-frames and doors are made from the highest quality timber, seasoned naturally, as is the parquet. The bathroom suites are made of the finest porcelain, with brass taps, Jacuzzi tubs and majolica decorations that were especially produced for PerugiaDue by local craftsmen.
